Tragic Crash in Geauga County: 9-Year-Old Killed, 6 Injured

A serious two-vehicle crash in Geauga County, Ohio, resulted in the death of a 9-year-old boy and injuries to at least six other people. The crash occurred when a Chevrolet SUV, driven by a 39-year-old woman with five passengers, veered off the road and overcorrected, colliding with a northbound Kia SUV driven by a 44-year-old woman. The driver of the Kia and six occupants of the Chevy SUV were taken to UH Geauga Medical Center, with the 9-year-old boy later pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing, with no indication of drugs or alcohol being involved.
