Fatal Crash Shuts Down State Route 161 in Northeast Columbus

A fatal two-car collision on State Route 161 at the Sharon Woods Boulevard intersection in northeast Columbus has resulted in one person being pronounced dead at the scene. The victim remains unidentified, and no other injuries have been reported. State Route 161 is closed in both directions as authorities continue to process the crash, which occurred at around 5:45 a.m.
