Fatal Crash on Marquam Bridge Causes Closure of I-5

Southbound Interstate 5 at Portland's Marquam Bridge reopened after a fatal crash involving a motorcyclist. The crash occurred in the morning, and despite receiving first aid and being taken to the hospital, the motorcyclist succumbed to their injuries. Traffic was diverted during the police investigation, and witnesses were asked to provide information. Another motorcyclist died in a separate collision in Gresham earlier that day.
