Fatal Accident on Watterson Expressway: Man Struck by Vehicle near 3rd Street Exit

A man died after being hit by a vehicle on the Watterson Expressway near the 3rd Street exit ramp in Louisville. The man had pulled over on the shoulder of the westbound Interstate 264 and was attempting to get back into his vehicle when he was struck by another vehicle. The victim was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries. The driver of the other vehicle is cooperating with the investigation.
