Fatal Accident on Closed State Route 12E Near Chaumont

A section of State Route 12E was closed near Chaumont, New York, after a woman from Stony Brook was thrown from a trailer being pulled by a pickup truck. The woman, identified as Monika I. Woroniecki, 58, was pronounced dead at the hospital after striking her head on the roadway. The incident is under investigation by the New York State Police.
