"Crash Causes Closure of I-84 East in Ashford with Submerged Tractor Trailers"

Interstate 84 eastbound in Ashford, CT was closed due to a crash involving two tractor trailers, with reports of the vehicles being submerged in water. The closure was between exits 72 and 73, and the exit 72 east ramp was also closed. Serious injuries were reported, and at least one patient was transported to a hospital.
