Tragic End: Former Athlete Drowns on Duck Hunting Trip

Former high school football and baseball player, Brooks Hardie, drowned in Lake Guntersville, Alabama, during a duck hunting trip when his kayak capsized. His body was recovered two days later. Hardie, who played college baseball at Snead State Community College, was remembered for his selflessness and dedication to his teammates. The Bremen community is mourning his loss.
