"RAGBRAI 2024: Route and Dates Announced!"

The route for the Register's Annual Great Bicycle Ride Across Iowa (RAGBRAI) in 2024 has been announced, starting from Glenwood on July 21 and ending in Burlington on July 27, covering 434 miles with overnight stops at Red Oak, Atlantic, Winterset, Knoxville, Ottumwa, and Mount Pleasant. This year's route is the hilliest in RAGBRAI's 51-year history, with over 18,000 feet of elevation. Additionally, a bike owned by RAGBRAI co-founder Donald Kaul was auctioned off for $8,500, with the proceeds going to the Dream Team charity.
