Dodgers to Host Christian Faith Event Amid Pride Night Controversy

Los Angeles Dodgers pitcher Clayton Kershaw announced on Twitter that the team will be relaunching its Christian Faith and Family Day on July 30th. This comes after the organization rescinded its invitation to the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence for its June 16 Pride Night event. The Dodgers faced backlash from religious groups for the decision to honor the group of "queer and trans nuns." The team apologized and removed the group from the list of honorees. The Christian Faith and Family Day will be the Dodgers' first faith event since 2019.
