Armed Man Arrested at Capitol in Search of Gov. Tony Evers

An armed man was arrested at the Wisconsin State Capitol after demanding to see Governor Tony Evers. He returned later with an assault rifle after posting bail. The man was taken into custody again. Governor Evers assured reporters that he was unharmed and had confidence in the state Capitol police. Last year, Evers appeared on a target list found in the vehicle of a man accused of fatally shooting a retired county judge.
