Lockdowns Lifted: Student Threat Resolved at Local Schools

Baton Rouge High School and several other schools in the area were placed on lockdown after a person claiming to be armed and threatening to place explosives around the school made a call to a suicide hotline. Law enforcement conducted a thorough search and found no evidence of explosives. The lockdown was lifted, and students were let out a few minutes early. Similar threats were made against schools in other parts of the state.
