Round Rock Police Respond to Multiple Incidents Involving Weapons and Threats

Hernandez Middle School in Round Rock was briefly placed on lockdown after reports of a "suspicious" person with weapons nearby. The Round Rock Independent School District investigated the reports and found no evidence of a person with weapons nearby. The lockdown was lifted, and the middle school resumed the day as scheduled. Parents and guardians were notified, and the Round Rock Police Department was also inside the campus to ensure it was clear.
