Multiple Drownings Prompt Closure of Michigan Campground's Lake

A campground in Monroe County, Michigan, has decided to permanently close its lake following multiple drownings of young people. The campground, operated by KOA, will continue to offer other amenities and activities. Last year, a 15-year-old drowned, and recently, an 18-year-old from Ohio also drowned. The campground is providing full refunds to guests who wish to cancel their reservations.
