Motel 6 Evacuated Due to Gas Leak

Guests at a Motel 6 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, were displaced after a possible gas leak prompted two evacuations. Utility crews initially believed they had fixed the leak, but guests later reported symptoms consistent with a gas leak. One person was evaluated by ambulance but did not require further treatment. The cause and type of leak are still being investigated.
