"Kansans Vote for New Ad Astra License Plate Design"

After weeks of controversy and debate, Kansas has chosen a new license plate design through a public vote. The winning design received 53% of the votes, with almost 270,000 people participating in the process. The state government released five additional options after a previous design was rejected in November. Governor Laura Kelly expressed satisfaction with the public's involvement and emphasized the importance of safety in the new license plates. The Department of Revenue will now work on issuing the updated plates.
