Nikki Haley's Husband Deploys to Africa as She Campaigns for 2024 GOP Nomination.

Republican presidential candidate Nikki Haley attended her husband's deployment ceremony for the South Carolina National Guard, where he will be deployed to Djibouti in support of Operation Enduring Freedom, Horn of Africa. This marks Michael Haley's second active-duty tour overseas since he joined the National Guard as an officer in 2006. Nikki Haley's campaign says this is the first time a presidential candidate has had a spouse deployed during the campaign.
