Principal startled by bear in West Virginia school yard.

A black bear surprised a West Virginia elementary school principal by growling and roaring as it emerged from a dumpster outside the school. The principal had been unlocking the bin when the bear began pushing open the lid. The encounter was recorded by a school security camera and has since been shared widely across social media. The school installed a lock on the dumpster last week after noticing some torn up garbage bags outside. The West Virginia Department of Natural Resources has since made modifications to the lock.
