Man and Bear Startled in North Carolina Encounter

A man in North Carolina had a surprise encounter with a bear while relaxing outside his home. Doorbell video captured the moment when the man and the bear made eye contact, both appearing equally startled. The man, David Oppenheimer, said the same bear had visited his home before to inspect trash cans and grab a quick bite from his "bear-proof" bird feeder. Despite the surprise, Oppenheimer said the bears in the area are generally peaceful.
