A man in Washington state discovered a rusting rocket in his garage, which turned out to be an inert nuclear missile, prompting police to determine it was safe and leave it with the man to be restored for display in a museum. The missile, a Douglas AIR-2 Genie, was the first nuclear-armed air-to-air weapon and was the "most powerful interceptor missile ever deployed by the US Air Force."
