Chase incidents near Clio school involve 10-year-old and stolen truck.

A 10-year-old boy stole a silver 2007 Buick Encore from his relatives' home in Buena Vista Township, Michigan, and led police on a brief chase on Interstate 75. The boy was driving recklessly and refused to stop even after police activated their emergency lights and sirens. The SUV was remotely disabled by OnStar, causing it to slowly come to a stop and collide with a guardrail. The boy, who was uninjured, told police he had taken the car to drive to Detroit to see his mother. He was lodged at the Saginaw County Juvenile Detention Center.
