Renowned Atlanta Pastor and Televangelist Charles Stanley Passes Away at 90

Dr. Charles Stanley, founder of In Touch Ministries and former senior pastor at Atlanta’s First Baptist Church, has died at the age of 90. Stanley was a pastor, broadcaster, and author who served the church for over 50 years. He launched "The Chapel Hour" and In Touch Ministries to spread the Gospel to as many people as possible. Stanley authored 60 books and was inducted into the National Religious Broadcasters Hall of Fame in 1988. He is survived by his children, one of whom started Northpoint Ministries.
