"Final Farewell: Chicago Fire Department Mourns Fallen Lieutenant Kevin Ward"

Family, friends, and colleagues gathered at Fourth Presbyterian Church in Chicago to remember fallen Chicago Fire Lieutenant Kevin Ward, who died a few weeks after being injured while battling a house fire near O'Hare Airport. Ward, who joined the fire department in 1996, was described as an adventurous and multi-talented individual. He is the third firefighter to die in the line of duty this year for the Chicago Fire Department.
