"Waseca Area Faces Intense Wildfire Threat"

A large wildfire north of Waseca, Minnesota has prompted evacuations of "a few" homes near Snake Trail, with the fire spreading to a peat grass bog in the area of 383rd Ave. Dry conditions, warm temperatures, and high wind speeds have created ideal fire weather conditions, leading to the rapid spread of the fire. Multiple fire departments are working to extinguish the flames, and residents are advised to avoid the area.
