"Rio Arriba County on High Alert as Black Feather Fire Sparks "SET" Evacuation Status"

The Black Feather Fire, located northeast of Cuba in the Santa Fe National Forest, has burned 2,000 acres and is 0% contained. The communities of Mesa del Poleo and Mesa Pinabetal in Rio Arriba County are under a SET evacuation status, with an evacuation center set up at the Coyote Senior Center. Forest Road 93 through 103 has been closed due to fire activity.
