"Remembering Rosalynn Carter: A National Tribute"

President Joe Biden has ordered flags to be flown at half-staff nationwide from November 25 to November 29 in honor of former first lady Rosalynn Carter, who passed away at the age of 96 on November 19. Memorial services will be held in Atlanta and Plains, and Biden, along with Vice President Kamala Harris, will attend the service in Atlanta. Carter was known for her advocacy for equal rights, mental health, and caregivers. Her husband, former President Jimmy Carter, has been in hospice care since February. The public will have opportunities to pay respects during the motorcade routes.
