Mysterious Disappearance of Woman Who Reported Child Alone on Alabama Interstate

A search is underway for Carlethia Nichole "Carlee" Russell, a 25-year-old woman who went missing after calling 911 to report seeing a child walking alone on the side of Interstate 459 in Hoover. Russell stopped to check on the child and called a family member before losing contact. Police found her vehicle and belongings but have been unable to locate her or the child. Russell's parents, along with the help of Aniah Blanchard's mother, are searching the area. The investigation is ongoing, and anyone with information is urged to contact the police.
