Virginia Tech student Johnny Roop, 20, went missing before an online exam and was last seen at his apartment complex in Merrimac, Virginia. His phone pinged at a shopping mall shortly before the exam was scheduled to begin at his parents' home. Authorities are asking for the community's help in locating Roop, who was driving a black 2018 Toyota Camry with the Virginia license plate number TXW6643. The Montgomery County Sheriff's Office is leading the investigation and seeking any information on Roop's whereabouts.
