Multiple Water Searches Underway for Missing Persons in Different Lakes.

A search for a missing female swimmer was conducted by the Minneapolis Fire Department and the Hennepin County Sheriff's Water Rescue Patrol at Lake Nokomis after receiving reports of a missing swimmer. The search was called off after several hours, but it is still unclear if anyone actually went missing. Lifeguards and beachgoers had already formed a human rescue chain to help search for the swimmer before the fire department arrived.
