Black Hawk Crash: Flight Data Recorders Recovered and Community Mourns Fallen Soldiers.

Flight data recorders, commonly known as black boxes, have been recovered from the two Army Black Hawk helicopters that crashed during a nighttime training exercise in Kentucky, killing all nine soldiers aboard. The recorders have been sent to Fort Rucker for further analysis. The investigation is ongoing, and the duration will be determined by the thorough analysis of all factors. The soldiers' remains have been taken to Dover Air Force Base, and three of the soldiers killed in the crash were posthumously promoted to the next higher grade.
