Lakeview Community in Turmoil as Teen Takeovers Wreak Havoc

Residents in Chicago's Lakeview neighborhood are angry after a "teen takeover" resulted in car and property damage. The incident involved individuals jumping off CTA Red Line trains, blocking traffic, and jumping on cars. While violence was minimal, there was significant traffic disruption and property damage. Chicago police were unable to stop the flow of teens due to CTA officials declining to run trains on bypass. At least two arrests were made, and police were able to disperse the crowds by 3 a.m.
