Wildfire Near Tracy Forces Evacuations, Grows to 946 Acres

The Corral Fire in San Joaquin County, which has burned 14,168 acres, is now 75% contained, leading to evacuation orders being downgraded to warnings. The fire, which started near Lawrence Livermore National Laboratory Site 300, has affected areas near I-580 and destroyed one home. Over 400 personnel are fighting the fire, and two firefighters have been hospitalized with minor to moderate burns. Road closures and evacuation warnings remain in place as winds continue to pose a risk.
