Tragic Deaths of Young Twins Found Unresponsive on Miami I-95

Two three-year-old fraternal twins were found unresponsive in a van on the northbound I-95 ramp to the Turnpike Extension at the Golden Glades interchange in NW Dade, Miami. Despite medical efforts, the children were pronounced deceased at a nearby hospital. The driver, an adult female, was found in critical condition after going over the railing to the on-ramp onto the railroad tracks. The cause of death has not been revealed, and the familial relationship between the adult female and the children is still unknown. The incident has prompted an investigation, leading to the closure of the ramp and impacting train tracks under the interchange.
