SUV Explodes in Van Nuys Parking Lot

An SUV exploded in a Van Nuys parking lot near Van Nuys Boulevard and Sherman Way, injuring a man living in the vehicle. Authorities reported that propane tanks inside the car exploded when the man lit a cigarette, causing minor injuries. The scene was cleaned up and the car was impounded.
