"Robbinsville, New Jersey Welcomes Largest Hindu Temple in the U.S."

The world's largest Hindu temple outside of India, the Akshardham, has been completed in Robbinsville, New Jersey. The massive stone structure took over 10 years to build and spans more than 183 acres. Skilled artisans used ancient Indian carving techniques to transform blocks of stone into works of art. Over 12,000 volunteers contributed millions of hours to the construction of the temple.
