Pedestrian Fatally Struck Near Downtown by Vehicle, SAPD Reports

A man was struck and killed by a silver Honda sedan while walking across N Main Avenue near Park Avenue in San Antonio. The driver fled the scene and will face charges of failure to stop and render aid death if found. The victim, a 38-year-old man, was taken to the hospital with life-threatening injuries but was later pronounced dead. The investigation is ongoing.
