Multiple Apartment Fires Injure Residents and Pets Across Texas

A fire at a North Side apartment complex has injured two people, displaced more than a dozen occupants, and killed several pets. The San Antonio Fire Department suspects that lightning may have sparked the fire. Firefighters found the second floor of a building at the ICON apartments engulfed in flames. All 16 apartments in the building were affected either by the flames, smoke, or water. The American Red Cross assisted members of the apartment complex’s staff in relocating most of the people who lived in the building.
