Missing Bay Area Landmark Found: The Iconic Return

The iconic "Mission Peak pole" located atop Mission Peak in Fremont, which had been vandalized and went missing, has now been recovered by park staff. The top portion of the pole had been sawed off and was later found, although the exact location of its recovery is unknown.
