"Heroic Witnesses Rescue Pilot from Burning Helicopter in Danbury Crash"

Witnesses in Danbury, New Hampshire, helped rescue a pilot from a burning helicopter after it crashed in the woods. The pilot, flying a Hughes TH-55, lost control and crashed near a landing site, causing a fire that spread to the surrounding area. The pilot was taken to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with serious but non-life-threatening injuries. The National Transportation Safety Board and the FAA will investigate the crash.
