Fatal Hunting Mishap Strikes in Smith County

A man has died in Smith County after sustaining a gunshot wound in a hunting accident. The incident occurred Friday evening and is currently under investigation by the Mississippi Department of Wildlife Fisheries and Parks, with support from the Smith County Sheriff’s Office. The identity of the victim has not been released.
