South Bend, in partnership with Notre Dame and Ancora, is developing the 202,000-square-foot Colfax Corner, a research and innovation hub featuring restored historic buildings and new facilities, aimed at creating over 400 high-tech jobs, fostering community engagement, and boosting the local economy with a projected $750 million impact over 10 years, supported by city, state, and nonprofit investments.
