San Francisco Pride Weekend Unites Community with Festivities and Donations.

San Francisco Pride celebrations kicked off with the annual Pride Run and events in the Castro and Civic Center, drawing thousands of people. Families gathered at the Castro Family Pride Block Party, which featured arts and crafts, a petting zoo, drag story hour, and a golden retriever dressed as a unicorn. Meanwhile, at Civic Center, thousands of people roamed the closed-off streets around City Hall lined with food trucks, bars, booths from large corporations, city agencies and services and nonprofits at the annual, two-day festival in front of the city center.
