Trump Organization's Former CFO Allen Weisselberg Sentenced to 5 Months for Perjury

Former Trump Organization CFO Allen Weisselberg has been sentenced to five months in New York City's Rikers Island jail complex for perjury committed in a 2023 civil fraud case involving Donald Trump. Weisselberg pleaded guilty to two felony counts of perjury, admitting to giving false testimony about the size of Trump's triplex apartment. This comes after a previous guilty plea in a 2022 criminal tax fraud case against the Trump Organization. Weisselberg will be eligible for release in 100 days with good behavior.
