"Montana Man Convicted for Role in U.S. Capitol Breach"

Henry Phillip "Hank" Muntzer of Dillon, Montana, was found guilty of felony and misdemeanor charges related to his involvement in the January 6, 2021, breach of the U.S. Capitol. He was convicted of obstruction of an official proceeding, civil disorder, and other charges after a bench trial. Muntzer, who expressed no regrets about his actions, traveled from Montana to attend the rally and was involved in physical confrontations with law enforcement officers inside the Capitol. Sentencing is scheduled for June 20, 2024.
