Accuser recants sexual assault claims against Darius Pridgen

The woman who filed a lawsuit accusing Buffalo Common Council President Darius Pridgen of sexual assault has now denied the incidents ever happened, stating that she never filed a lawsuit or spoke to an attorney about Pridgen. Her pastor also confirmed that she denied the accusations. Pridgen's lawyers have demanded that the lawsuit be discontinued, and the woman's lawyer stated that her client wants to be left alone by the media and does not want to speak to anyone. The woman's attorney has previously represented clients in adult survivors cases.
