Sandy Hook Families Offer Alex Jones Settlement Deal: $85M Minimum

The families of Sandy Hook shooting victims have offered Infowars host Alex Jones a settlement proposal to resolve his bankruptcy case. The families suggested that Jones pay at least $85 million over 10 years, in addition to half of any annual income over $9 million. They also proposed an option for the orderly liquidation of Jones' non-exempt assets. The families claim that Jones has failed to propose a feasible path to emergence from bankruptcy and has continued to live an extravagant lifestyle. Jones' attorneys have filed a motion requesting a status conference to discuss a potential exit plan. A federal bankruptcy judge ruled last month that bankruptcy proceedings will not shield Jones from over $1.1 billion in damages owed to the Sandy Hook families.
