Multiple Lawsuits Filed in Fatal Florida Parasailing Accident

The family of Supraja Alaparthi, who died in a parasailing accident in Florida last year, has filed a second lawsuit related to her death. The boat captain, crew member, and resort company that owns the marina where the boat was based are named in the suit. The captain was charged with manslaughter in September 2021. The Alaparthi family is calling for more required training and closer transparency and enforcement around existing standards.
