Chocolate Maker Ignored Gas Alert Before Explosion, Lawsuit Claims.

The family of a worker who died in an explosion at a chocolate factory in Pennsylvania has filed a wrongful death suit against R.M. Palmer Co., alleging that the company ignored warnings of a natural gas leak. The explosion killed seven workers and injured several others. Workers had reportedly smelled natural gas and notified Palmer, but the company did nothing. The lawsuit also names gas utility UGI. Authorities are still investigating the cause of the explosion.
