Texas AG Sues Frisco ISD for Electioneering

Texas Attorney General Ken Paxton has filed a lawsuit against Frisco Independent School District for illegal electioneering, alleging that the district used official resources to advocate for specific policies in violation of the Texas Election Code. While the Attorney General's office is currently unable to criminally prosecute Election Code violations, it may seek civil injunctive relief to prevent school districts from unlawfully influencing elections.
