Trump's Family Files Lawsuit Over Cheering of Retribution Killing

The family of Michael Reinoehl, a left-wing activist and self-proclaimed Antifa member who was shot dead by law enforcement in September 2020, is suing in federal court, alleging that he was killed in a "sudden and unprovoked attack" without an opportunity to surrender. The lawsuit claims that the officers involved either had no plan to arrest him without injury or planned to use deadly force from the start. Reinoehl had been charged with murder in the second degree and was found with a pistol and a disassembled rifle at the time of his death. The lawsuit seeks compensatory and punitive damages.
