Lawsuit filed over deadly chocolate factory explosion in Pennsylvania.

A neighbor of the R.M. Palmer Co. chocolate plant that exploded in West Reading has filed a lawsuit claiming negligence by the company led to the blast. Betty Wright is seeking punitive damages of at least $50,000 and a jury trial. The suit claims that Wright suffered severe and permanent injuries as well as a loss of property and belongings due to the explosion. The suit places blame for the blast on the company, saying it failed to properly inspect, repair and test the property to prevent the devastating explosion.
